Not a coaster event, but something that might fill the closed season gap in the RCCGB calendar nicely - and there are white-knuckle water flume rides!

I'm organising a party weekend based at the CenterParcs village in the Lake District from Friday 5th to Monday 8th December 2008. The package includes three nights accommodation in a forest lodge (each sleeping 6 or 8 people in twin/double rooms), three parties with free help-yourself bar, two suppers, unlimited access to the water dome, and an optional programme of walking, sightseeing and activities. All for a bargain price of £99! Upgrades available for a supplement for en suite rooms or sole occupancy rooms.

There are usually 80-100 people of all ages at this party weekend. I think RCCGB members would love it - and I'd love to get to know you better!

See my web site at www.maruba-events.com for further details.

Hmmmmm that sounds kinda interesting!!!

Whats the latest time people can book as if i have holiday time left over i may be interested in doing this. I obviously will not know this til later in the year.

When you say a 'help yourself' bar, does this mean free booze then????  Laughing

It does sound very tempting. I'm also considering this.

2008 sure is starting to fill up with nice things.

To answer your questions....

Places are sold on a first come, first served basis. Over 1/3rd sold already and usually completely sold out by September. Though I keep a waiting list as there are usually a couple of last minute cancellations due to illness, etc, but obviously not guaranteed. Some people take Friday and Monday off work. Others arrive very late after work on Friday and leave late Sunday or very early Monday morning. It's unlikely I'd be able to add more accommodation nearer the time as CenterParcs is hugely popular and to get lodges adjacent to each other in a good area of the park (near water dome) I had to book last December.

And yes, Adam, it's a free bar!!! I basically buy a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks from a cash & carry, lay them out in our 'party lodge' at CenterParcs and guests help themselves. It's whilst stocks last but we've never run out yet and I usually bring booze home with me! And this time there's a 'cocktail of the day' to kick start each party.

Ask if you've any more questions. It's a fun weekend.

If anyone needs any further recommendation, I've been to the last few of these (and have already booked for this one), and they are great fun.

I know it's not until December but...

In case anyone is still considering coming to the party weekend, just thought I'd mention there are only 2 double en suite rooms, 1 standard double room and 10 twin rooms still available for this fun weekend based at CenterParcs in the Lake District. So 26 places left in total and when they're gone they're gone!
