Hi

We where all aware that Rita will be changing its name and been rethemed next session.

But we where told today that Spinball will also be having its name changed next year.

By what we are told by more than 1 member of staff there is a lot of changes coming to the towers. I must say that I had heard that Rita would be re-themed & painted it never fitted in and now with new coaster even less so. This may be a new theme for this area finally to like dark woods or something like that.
Spinball was not one that was on the cards it was confirmed a few days ago to staff and going by fact all merchandise is going this could be soon.

Yep, I visited Alton today, the last day of the season. Most Rita merchandise has been removed from the shelves.

Spinball never really had much merchandise but they were selling off those tacky medals they sell at Alton at 50p each for Spinball ones. I think they were something like £4 before...! This would suggest something is happening to Spinball as why would they not just keep these to sell next season....?
