Camp Oakmud you mean?
Was pretty awesome, got beyond the point of caring about the mud and decided to just get drunk and get on with it.
Friday night wasn't too bad, had an awesome night catching up with people, drinking, watching the football and playing a few games
Saturday was a very wet day but not enough to dampen my spirits, had a great time surrounded by great mates. Did quite a few rides on the park and also had a fantastic time bowling and in the crystal maze, then it was back on the park again for food and more riding.
Highlight definitely has to be when we were on Bounce looking down at the Teatrays when someone came off and got a soaking. Also repeat rides on Speed when there was no queue.
We went back to the campsite for a bit, getting all our glowing tat before enjoying the show and ERS on Meggy.
Personally for me I thought this was the best ERS I have had on Meggy and have heard a few people mention the same. It actually stopped raining for the ERS which was fab.
Another highlight was this morning getting cars off the field although I have to say we did very well with little problems
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend and see you all again very soon. Thanks to Nev for organising it and thanks to Oakwood staff for being great
Can't wait to see all the photos. _________________ Rachel

What a great weekend weather was nice on friday.
Couldnt sleep that night due to the ammount of kick i had drunk. we were up nice and early thanks to the rain.
Found the day itself was really good even if a bit damp but walking to cc2000 was a great break from the park and campsite to try and dry up.
The ers in the evening was awsome people that were there were in really good spirits dispite the rain. I think it must have been due to most of us all being in the boat due to the camp site.
Today was good fun i knew i wasnt going to get very from as saw the day before i was really bogged down and so i moved today adn what a suprise i got stuck.
I got towed out b adam and what a scary experience it was lol but all fun.
The not so fun part of the whole weekend is now washing cleaning all the mud off things.
EDIT:
Cheers magic amy had to point it out as when you said i couldnt see it

Just got home and would like to thank the lunatic who pulled...No dragged me out of the mud with his 4x4. The experience was much more intense than any coaster i've ever ridden and ever likely to ride...Cheers you're a life saver.
Besides that had a top weekend and birthday. Mega was just fantastic as always. _________________ Making the world a better place by being nice!

Well what can I say guys?
Hope you all had a great time in SUNNY Pembrokeshire
Wow! what a great weekend we made of it guys..................I am soooooo proud of you all (considering the weather) and the conditions.HA!
I think the best was ther ECBS...................Exclusve Canaston Bowl Sesion as that was the only place to stay dry (for 7 hours on the beer HA!) and have a beer NOT watered down by the rain
Full marks to you all for travelling down to sunny Oakwood and STILL making the best of cack weather
Roll on next years bash.
Hopefully that might just be enough time for our tents to dry out
Full marks to all of you for travelling down to Oaky.
BUT wasn't it worth it riding Meggy after all that rain.......................she just flew

Well what a trip!!
Camp Oakmud was certainly:
Wet!
Muddy!
Cold!
But soooo much fun!!!
Friday was good as had fun drive to the park via the small welsh roads. Was good evening and had fun watching the football (Im sure the girls will understand why )! Was good to see everyone and my Dad (Goodwood) and the family! Had fun chatting in the evening..was a great laugh!!
Had a really rough night because of being so cold and Dan wired up on kick so only had a small sleep but was up early, braving the rain!
Saturday was fun, in the end i think most of us just put up with it and had a laugh and went hyper in the evening (Hope didnt annoy Team Bush too much..and thanks for the Haribo! )!! Had some good rides in the day and enjoyed going into the warmth!!!
I must say that the ERS in the evening was the best one I'd been on Meggie, and the atmosphere was great again, if not better!!!
Sunday morning was ok! Was fun/scary to watch Dan be towed out of the field! Was nice to get back into the warmth though.
Thanks to everyone who made it a great trip even with the weather!!

Camp Oakwood
Thanks for another great day,
Fri we started in porthcawl then barry island then turned up at oaky round 5pm and found a highish pitch near the far end of the site, spent the evening talking bbqing and generally chilling out. watched the fireworks then settled in for the night.
Sat AM ERS wet Meggy spent the time alternating goes with sarah while we took it in turns babysitting alicia, a different ride in the rain. Did wet bobsleigh wet speed (sarahs first ever go on speed) wet treetops, then dryed out in the kids adventure area then hit braer rabbit and spooky 3d several times. Took the trek over to crystal maze/ bowling with Matt, will and josh Rogers (alicia won the bowling) we got 8 crystals in the maze and got 6th place on the day as team COASTERWET thanks to team RCCGB for the statutary dome assistance. Blew the meal vouchers in Woodies, won a teddy on the basketball hustle. Then sarah and alicia went on flying scooters and i watched the wipeouts on bounce.
Many thanks to Dave Wells buddy who towed us off the field early evening in his super chelsea tractor.
Thought a quick evac was in order with our little girl wetter than a wet thing on a wet weekend. we rolled in 1am this morning, tired and happy.
just sorry to have missed the night ERS.
Will be back camping next year possibly with charlotte too, coaster crazy.
Thanks nev for the day, Auntie Murial Andy S for the campsite and Oakwood for letting us carve up the field. _________________ life moves too fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you just might miss it.

What lovely weekend, even if it did rain constant!
Friday at folly farm was brilliant, I want a swirl in my garden, I have never laughed so much on a spiney ride like that! Bring them back is all I can say.
They had some cute animals but there must be something in the water in that place! They were all expecting babies!!
Very strange contrast from walking around with no jumpers on, to then walking round a campsite in every item of clothing you had!
A highlight of mine was the I don’t care attitude that everyone had on the campsite, I had this on Saturday but then woke up on Sunday it had finally got to me, but we were all in the same boat and it was very amusing watching everyone getting off the field, but then becoming very dangerous, especially Dan and Chewie’s cars and not forgetting the caravan!
The bobsleigh was insane, very scary and I certainly will not forget that in a hurry, Meggy was good and the ERS spirit in the evening was a lively one and everyone enjoying it, despite the rain!
Brilliant weekend, great to catch up with people, and talk to some people who I don’t normally see on every trip! _________________ Hayley

To be honest i would say the trip was complete hell. However there were fun bits and some great new memories.
Sorry we had to leave at 8pm on Saturday but me and Vicci had been worn down by the weather, personal dramas and people standing around instead of riding lol. Would have loved to complete the night with the night ERS but we decided to make the move.
We stayed at a great hotel only 15 minutes away. Had a lovely meal and a drink. Plus nice warm showers.
Ryan, the hotel we stayed at was run by your old school friend Terry Davis. We had a long chat about you. lol Plus i believe his daughter used to work for you and was once a ride op on Meggy.
Was a really nice end to the trip. Neither of us were up for a night in what the camp site had become.
Vicci would like to say she loves Team Busch and thanks to Keith Sargent, Barry Healy and Allison for making us feel welcome when we did a drunken invasion. lol
Plus a big thanks to Andy S for the mattress pump, we love you isn't it
Cheers to Team Hacket, Ryan, Harvey, Dan and Dave Perry for also being a great laugh and putting up with us.
Also a big thanks for our great ride time with Andy Knight.
Cheers guys. _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

Had such an amazing weekend with super people, despite the weather it really didn't get me down. Like Hayley said we all had that "I don't care attitude and just got on with it"
Had some brilliant ride time with Steve, Hayley, Dan, Amy, Rich, Jess and Ashley. As we had already done Oaky earlier on in the year we enjoyed the socialising more than the ride time. Watching you guys on the Bobsleigh my heart was in my mouth.
The ride ops on Speed were fab, one of the girls was the same one who was on Meggy for the charity ride, me and Amy had a nice chat with her about how great her hair was.
Treetops was interesting with them only filling the back section of the train though, understandable though as we have seen Treetops shoot through the station when full and wet. Pirate ship was so authentic cos of being sprayed with water, I think even Rich enjoyed it
I missed out on doing Brer Rabbit and Spooky 3D as just wanted shelter and a drink, so me, Andy, Steve and Hayley sat out.
Thanks to everyone who looked after Andy, he really wasn't feeling very well and was worried about ruining everyones weekend.
I must have missed the dramas that were going on, but I think at the time I was on the park on Bounce and then laughing at Ben and Charlie (I think thats your name) repeat riding and falling off on the Teatrays.
Had a really good time back at the campsite early evening watching Alisons tiggers and having a good chat to people I don't normally get round to chatting to. Special mention to Coaster Police for joining us on the field and helping me and Jess with our glowing tat also thanks for riding with me during the ERS.
Had a great time down at the Crystal Maze and bowling, thanks to Death who helped us win a crystal
All in all a great weekend, love looking through the piccies, got some super memories. Great to see old friends and new. _________________ Rachel

I have to say that saturday was the worst weather I've ever experienced on a club trip and yet it was one of the best days ever. The rain made Megafobia fly and kept the crowds away from the park. During the evening I managed 6 goes on Speed without getting off! Because of the weather I decided not to try the Arm Up challenge on the tea trays but did see many other people fall in. After heading back to camp and emptying the tent I visited the Team Bush site for a water logged chat before heading up to CC2000 for lunch and to dry off. Our team got the highest score of the day and the week in the Crystal Maze and we didn't cheat at all.....
The evening was spent with a lot more riding, some more tent mopping, a lot more rain and the best dark ERS ever. Thanks to Nev, Oakwood, Wendy (for giving me a lift home) and the two guys who pitched their tent next to mine thus blocking out the worst of Robert's snoring!
Roll on next year, although I might opt for a B&B! _________________ Without a safety net you're free to find serene pleasure of speed |

Wow.. looks like we missed one great weekend.
We had the wedding on Friday, and on Saturday when you guys were riding, I was hand feeding giraffes.
When you were being pulled out of mud in a Welsh field on Sunday, I was snorkelling alongside tropical fish around a coral reef in the Indian Ocean.
It's a hard life.
I've started uploading photographs: http://www.new.facebook.com/album...8378&l=e9f0d&id=681476539 _________________ Sarah

Hi Pete. The pink looked great isn't it, hehe
It was done as a joke to see what the guys would make of it. I`m not known for colour and it was one hell of a shocking colour to wear lol.
Me and Vicci did it as a joke. If people made jokes, i told them Vicci bought the pink cloths for me and watched there facial reactions lol.
Was done because some good friends seem to have been saying Vicci has changed me. Putting some nasty rumours out there as well. So did it as a joke to go along with the idea she has changed me.
If being happy for a change is a bad change? lol _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

Its taken me a while but this years trips was another great one. Camping was great, despite the rain. If anything I think it added to the trip a great lets get on and enjoy ourselves on Saturday night.
The bobsleigh was great, very hairy in the rain but a good laugh. Also the night ERS was the best I've ever done. The atmosphere was excellent and everyone still made a great effort with the glowy stuff. _________________ Steve

another excellent oakwood trip ! It may have been raining but it didnt stop me from getting some rides (5 in total) on my favourite woodie - megobia !. After The morning e.r.s it was time to go over to speed to get a couple of rides in. You knew when i was on it as u could hear me doing the "oggy oggy oggy" chant followed by "we're coaster crazy , what are we ?" chant whilst on the vertical incline. After Speed it was time to do some filiming of the park (yes , i actually managed to remember my video camera this year ! lol). I got some footage of the waterfall hoping some people would fall in off of the trays (am i evil or what ?). Was a bit dissapointed with no one falling off so went and had a go or 2 on the bounce Followed by plane crazy and tree top coaster. Then more filming of the waterfall and a couple of people actually fell of the trays .
A quick bite to eat in the cafe (where most of the day was spent) then a video of some members do their ride on vertigo and then more rides including brer rabbits party train ride. I even had a go on the train ride and got some footage for the video. Then more waterfall footage (some one went off causing a big splash ! - on the video !). Then more speed , bounce and then time for evening meal. In the evening it was more speed , bounce , plane crazy before going to the outdoor stage where the Blues brothers were doing a show. I made it in time for the last song before filming the fireworks which were as good as ever (even if they were in a diferent location). Then it was over to megafobia again where i got 4 rides in (including being on the last train of the e.r.s). It may have rained but it didnt stop me from having a wicked time !
Thanks to oakwood theme park and of course - Andy Hine ! _________________ Fan of all things fast : Roller Coasters , cars including the lovely Audi R8 !
