As most of you will have seen from my TR from our trip to Cedar Point last week both of us were totally blown away with Magnum.

It was a ride I was interested to ride to see how it compared to PMBO but never did I think it was going to be such an amazing ride imo.

It is everything that PMBO is not as it is full of speed and crammed full of the most amazing float time and airtime I have ever know from a steel ride.

So what do you all think about it, do you agree or is PMBO the better ride for you and why did you choose the ride you did?

You have got to be kidding Wink
PMBO is not even in the same league as the Magnum XL200.
MAGNUM by far has my vote Laughing  Laughing

Somebody must disagree with us though Ryan as PMBO has a vote!!

What I cant get over after riding Magnum last week is how a company that could come up with such an amazing ride ended up the way they did?

Having not had the luck to get to Cedar point I can't vote, but Magnum looks a lot better than PMBO, although South Beach would look a bit empty without it.
I like the look of Magnum's turnaround, a lot more pleasing than a 180.

Magnum gets my vote everytime because its airtime filled - out of your seat - bruised tops of thighs - bunnyhops on the return - which PMBO does not have. It may be steel, but its good steel and I'm sure even Nev would have to agree there.

Magnum for the win....although riding in the rain wearing ponchos on the 2004 trip was a bit of an endurance trial! But by the late night ERS, the rain had cleared, and from the top of the lift you could just see the white crests of the waves out on Lake Erie, followed by an insane pitch black run out and back to the final bunny hills, and some insane airtime!!

What an ERS that was!!!
