As a close to the Bash we drove up North a bit further to spend the Monday at Lightwater Valley. The park again was very empty and cold! I think we had all weathers whilst we were there but we still got round and did everything.

The Ultimate was a good ride first time round in the front row, but seemed to get worse the further back we went. I remember saying to Adam this isn't as roughas they say on the second lift hill. I changed my mind after the next drop and the attempts it made to throw us out of the car. The other coasters were ok, nothing special but a good laugh. The spinning mouse is one of the best I've been on and really throws you around. Other good moments include being pebble dashed on the Enterprise, the intelligence of the Wave operator, the Eagles Claw giving the best Afterburner sequence I've ever ridden.

The highlight of the day by far had to be Skate Karts! What a ride.

After all the excitement we finally made it home about 10 last night after a 280 mile journey south. Thanks for a great day again guys and a great weekend.

Eagles claw is superb and the Ultimate is a gem of a coaster, rough as nails but unique.
