Thats one tick I'm not bothered about. I did not like legoland Windsor apart from the 2 Dragon Coasters and the Log Flume.
Good show to them though for expanding. _________________ Don't look at me, I'm just Human

Legoland is awsome innit. Or should i say Leglessland. Can`t wait for anything new, always enjoy myself there. Although i do think they put something in the water? (What you think Smiler or Steve Caine?) _________________ www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

Taken from screamscape bout the jungle coaster
A Screamscape reader who visited Legoland Windsor over the weekend noticed something interesting. While using the park’s Q-Bot virtual queue system there was a notice saying that the park’s Jungle Coaster was closed indefinitely. Earlier this year we had reported that complaints from the locals had forced the park to remodel the cool looking trains they had built for the coaster and turn them into what looked more like an enclosed golf cart. The new heavier cars caused weight problems with the coaster, but we were also told that the locals were still complaining about the noise levels, so I’ve got to wonder if they’ve forced the park to shut down the ride. Anyone know more? The website still lists the ride as being open, and even still shows pictures of the old open cars, though they do mention the new weight restrictions.
A local reader went to Legoland Windsor on Wednesday and reported that the Jungle Coaster is open again, though they have signs posted now to let everyone know that “due to technical problems Jungle Coaster will be running on a reduced number of trains.” This is on top of the reduced capacity they now have (2 adults maximum) on each train as well, so with only 4 cars running at a time you can get a good idea at just how long the line was going to be. _________________ Naked roller coaster world record holder 2004

This coaster cannot last much longer at the capacity it is running at. When I visited the capacity was so low it is now going to get worse.
Why in this country can people not be happy that there is a park near by they can visit. _________________ El Toro My 200th coaster and first USA coaster (Also member of roll back club on TTD 2)

I odn't get it really, there is a chance to object to these things as they are being built? So why not do it then?
Surely the noise can't be that bad, I live about 2/3 miles from a motorway and that is noisy sometimes, but only when the wind is blowing in the right direction. Other times you can't hear it. Shall I complain and ask the government to remove it!! _________________ Steve

On about the motorway noise we have same problem living just 1 mile away. The others in the village lives 2 miles away and have complained saying they want a low noise road surface to be added.
I also agree why complain after a ride is built. We seem top get this a lot in the UK. Drayton have it Alton Towers have it. _________________ El Toro My 200th coaster and first USA coaster (Also member of roll back club on TTD 2)

Oakwood also has it I think, going by what Paddy has said to me in the past, and i believe that Chessington in the past have had it also. I know that Thorpe Park has also had problems with noise hence why they dont use a boom noise anymore and they just use some random woman saying explosion when they release Detonator. _________________ Auntie Murial - Ianto James Gulliver

I was at Legoland filming a piece about football yesterday. The press office told me that a whole new area is being added next year with a 1920's India theme. The centre piece will be a new dark ride, along the lines of the one that just opened in Legoland California. The model makers at the park have already started building the models for the ride which is due to open in March 09.
There will be a handful of rides in this new area, but if there is a new coaster it will be a minor attraction along the scale of Dragons Apprentice.
The latest issues with only running a couple of cars on the Jungle Coaster is due to the roofs not closing adequately and maintenance are trying to improve matters.
And on a side note don't expect any rides at CWOA any time soon as they a keen to focus primarily on the zoo aspect, as I predicted some monthjs ago. _________________ Marcus

Just a quick note on the zoo, we went to Chessy last friday and did just the zoo and it really is looking good. They have spent some money on the whole area and have some really nice enclosures. The sea life centre is also an excellent attraction and I hope it remains. _________________ Steve
