in a claim that has been taken straight from BPB (only coaster completely over water) and Fantasy islands (largest coaster to circum-navigate a building)PR handbook!

Biggest rollercoaster over water in the world!

Southend Pier in Epic plans

Epic World Leisure's managing director Tony Garner said that he can find the £50 million needed to develop Southend Pier. The ambitious new plans for the landmark include a shore-end pavilion, cinema, museum, new railway station, viewing tower and the biggest rollercoaster over water in the world.

I gather it got planning permission, but that was withdrawn as there were fears they didn't have the money to complete the job and the council didn't want half a coaster built. And yep I think it was called the Swine.

This story is a bit like the Half Pipe/ Woodie at Flamingoland and the "Worlds Tallest" coaster allegedly planned for Blackpool.

It would depend on the finacial side of things and wether they if could find the space for it.

I wouldn't hold out much hope either.
