|
|
Hi all,
In the early hours of this morning, I added some image rotation code to the homepage to fade between 10 different coaster images.
At this time the feature will only operate on the homepage, as this could be annoying if it reset the cycle on each page you click on. The current cycle rotates through the 10 images twice, then rests on the original image you are used to.
I think it complements the homepage well as the primary landing page for all visitors to our site.
Feedback welcome.
Thanks,

Nice touch Matt, and it looks good.
Personally, I think the speed of rotation is a bit quick. I'd prefer to actually have chance to look at each picture before it fades. _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |

I like it and think it's a nice addition to the site. _________________ Steve

As per the feedback, i've slowed the rotation down from 2 to 4 seconds. I wouldn't want it any slower though as there's 10 images to get through.
Cheers,
