Hi everyone,

My name is Adam I am deaf. I am a roller coaster enthusiast. I visit as many roller coasters as I can each year.

I am deaf and if people have difficulty understanding me, don’t worry as I usually carry a note book with me and write things down so that they can understand me.

I am currently at university studying design and illustration.

My first ever ride was the Corkscrew at Alton Towers, quickly followed by Nemesis when I was 8 years old, both of which I love.

I have rode on many different roller coaster 60 in the UK and some in the USA.

I went to Orlando last year and had a brilliant time. I went on most of the rides at the major theme parks and rode Kraken at Sea world nine times.

My favorite ride is at Busch Gardens Africa Sheikra, it’s absolutely brilliant.

I would really want go on Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster in America.

I would like to become a member of your club and would like to join starting February 2009 – what date is best to join? Look forward to hearing from you and I will then post off my application.

Hello Adam, welcome to the board.

I have asperger syndrome which means I find it difficult to communicate with people.

Sounds like you have been on many rollercoasters. I have too, as I rode my first one at Barry Island when I was 6 years old.

You will really enjoy the club trips, as the atmosphere is great !

Anytime soon is the best time to join. The price of 2009 membership is not confirmed yet, but is due to be published soon.

Hi Adam, and welcome to the board.

I would say apply now and then you'll get information about the Thorpe Park trip as soon as it's available.
I doubt the membership fee will change more than a pound or two, if at all.

Try and get to the Blackpool Bash in April. It is the best trip for getting to know the other members, not to mention great fun. You may not know anyone when you arrive but you will certainly know a lot of people when you leave!! Very Happy

Hi everyone,

I so enjoyed last weekend at the loopathon weekend I love it!!

I was brilliant riding at night time on Nemesis all the running around I rode eleven time - fantasic

Thanks to everyone who I met you were all so friendly and helpful.

I will be back next year at Blackpool Bash and hopefully more trips.

I have posted my USA 2010 trip form and keeping my fingers crossed

I will say a Big Thank you to Nev for organising last weekend Very Happy
