|
|
Got this new info from their website:
"Funderworld is back in Bristol from the 3rd to the 18th April 2009.
And ringing in the changes brings back a familiar friend the Frisbee and two new white knuckle rides – Vertical limits (the only such ride in the UK) and Remix – extreme speed for ultra fast ride enthusiasts.
With over 26 attractions, food units and Bar, live music entertainment all set within a fenced and secured site with safety and first aid staffs and with prices set to 2007 levels Funderworld is the place to visit this Easter."
I'de really recommend Funderworld; it has loads of cool rides and a nice, friendly atmosphere. Does anyone know what type of rides these new ones are? There's no pictures on the site |

I wonder what Remix is. I'm guessing Vertical Limits is a travelling Sky Coaster. _________________ RCCGB Membership Number 1915

Good stuff .... they usually come along to Bournemouth in August, so i'll look forward to that.
Is the RCCGB discount (£1 off) still valid this year does anyone know? _________________ Matt

I have just had a look at the website and I can't see Remix or Vertical Limits, the only new ride for Bristol I can see is the Tango, which is simular to Bling at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
It is a great travelling theme park and I would highly recommend it, as I have been several times.
If you book online you can get 10% off, however I am not sure about the RCCGB discount.
Wristband prices are £2.99 for under 1.1 metres, £4.99 for 1.1 to 1.4 metres and £10.99 for over 1.4 metres.
Sessions are from 1 pm to 5 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm. |

A Tango is a cross between a Mondial Top Scan like Samurai at Thorpe Park and Bling at Blackpool _________________ Auntie Murial - Ianto James Gulliver

Doing a quick google search it seems the Remix is an Extreme Orbitor by Tivoli. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9wL2WX-FLg
I'm sure they had one of those at Clarence Pier last year? I'll have to check if its still there. _________________ Steve

I think it's gone, it was owned by someone else who leased it to Clarence Pier, think it's gone abroad somewhere. _________________ RCCGB Membership Number 1915
