Hey Guys,
I was wondering if any one fancies joining up for the fright nights and fireworks this year?
I was thinking something on the lines of.....
Alton Towers Saturday 17th October. Opens 10:00 to 21:00.
Thorpe Park Saturday 24th October. Open 10:00 to 22:00
Drayton Manor 31st October. Open 09:30 with some rides open till 21:00. Fireworks are at 19:00 with last admission at 18:00.
It is Drayton Manor's Diamond Jubilee so they are advertising a good firework show.
It is stating that the fright night for Thorpe Park has to be pre booked, so best to take a look at the website if interested.
Let me know what you guys think?

Kind Regards

Ahah!! I now know who you are!
I'm planning on going to Drayton Manor Fireworks on Sunday 1st November, from experience they usually have the better display on the last night. _________________ Rachel

I'll be going on the 1st Nov as well. I just hope I don't get stuck on the cable cars again with Smiler, Jess and nobody else as that was quite scary and very cold.... _________________ Without a safety net you're free to find serene pleasure of speed |

The drayton manor fireworks always seem to be better on the 2nd day as the first day is more child based with the music etc so the 1st of november for me to. Fright nights tend to go more in the half term week as most people have time of etc from work. Alton im the same with at the moment. _________________ Naked roller coaster world record holder 2004

Ooooo, someone read my mind (scary).
I was thinking of going to Thorpe on 31st Oct, followed by a quick visit to Chessington on the 1st (since i'll have to stay "down south" overnight anyway). So if anyone is interested in joining me for that then that would be ace. |

Hi Cat,
Second time tonight with an offer to join you. I would be up for the 31st and a trip to Chessington the following day, as if I leave by 3pm on Sunday I can still make the fireworks at Drayton manor.
Where abouts in the country do you come from as I maybe able to offer a lift to either Thorpe or Flamingo? I am based in Derby
Kind Regards
