hi guys,
Since i couldn't make it to the Summer Bash and i'm desperate for some Coaster action during September, i was hoping to wonder across to Flamingo Land for a day out. Currently free on 5th,6th,12th,13th,19th & 20th Sept.
It'd be great if i can get a gang together to meet up (otherwise i will look mega sad like a Billy-no-mates ).

Hi
Debi, Elise & myself live in Harrogate (about 1 hour away from Flamingo Land) We all have season passes and go there regularly so if we are free we will definitely be there

Hi Cat,
My birthday is on the 20th and I would not mind at all spending that time on some decent coaster action. Either the Saturday or Sunday.
I have to say that I was well impressed with Flamingo Land when we went for the summer bash, but this time when I am on the splash battle I will not be thinking how weird it is for someone to be wearing a swimming costume on that ride. It has to be the wettest ride in the UK and I might even be including Water World in that
Let me know if your interested?
Kind Regards

Hey Cat,
Sound slike a good idea, I would be okay to do the earlier dates in September but towards the end of the month I wouldn't be able to make it due to a really annoying Masters exam (dull dull dull!!) so let me know when you make a decision and I'll see if I can make it! yeay!! |

Whoop whoop, some replies yeah!
So how about Saturday 5th September then? Would that be groovy? Thinking its a good date as it's slap-bang in the middle between the Oaky trip and Loopathon. |

yeah, a coaster-riding weekend - i'm so excited.
Just looked at the map and it's going to take me about 2 hours to get there too. Park opens at 09.30 and rides at 10.00. I'm up for meeting there at 09.30 (cos i know i'll be awake with excitment ) but totally understand that this'll require a mega early alarm call on a Saturday morning so don't mind if you wanna meet a little bit later.
Since i've not been there before then i can't really suggest where to meet up, although i suppose in an obvious position near the pay kiosks would be good. Remember to bring your club membership card as i've read somewhere on this forum that we can get about £5 off entry price!
I'm gonna Facebook Geek my mobile number; but if anyone else is coming then pm me. [ at least i can check the forum at work - annoyingly i'm not allowed to access Facebook there = grrr!]
C u Saturday = yeah Safe driving. |
