I have come accross this picture update posted to the Drayton Manor Plus Website, just scroll down a little to see the construction photos.

http://draytonmanorplus.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4

I think this is goping to be a great addition to the Park and can't wait to see it in all its glory.  I especially like the way the veteran cars are to go through the Thomas gift shop.

IMHO Drayton Manor needed this upgrade. From what I see there it looks like a great area for the kids to go. I may go back to Drayton next year to add a new coaster to the list and a new one for Thomas to ride as well.

I always thought that the Robinsonland was very poor and felt like a bunch of childrens fairground rides dumped on a concrete car park, so i am excited to see some new landscaping, buildings and theming being added into the area.

It will be great for your little lad aswell, especially as it shares his name.  Very Happy

I can't wait until this opens, have promised to take my sisters two children there. One loves rides and the other is not too sure so hopefully Thomas land will be a nice gentle introduction for her.

It's nice to see the plans coming together very similar to the original plans. I wonder what the ride cars will look like.

It would appear the park isn't actually open on the 12th, it doesn't open till the weekend. The 12th is a media show and tell event not open to the public. Darn it I was looking forward to another pop band splitting up 12 months after opening one of Drayton's rides.

I cant wait to see what the troublesome trucks trains will be like and thomas himself,  if anyone knows of any pictures of these, it would be great to see them.

I'll try and get a few photos up on Wednesday night so you know what to look forward to. Might be able to put a Troublseome Trucks POV on my site too as I may be doing some on ride filming for them.

I'm heading to DMP on Saturday (Sunday is dedicated to the first 2008 F1 Grand Prix).

Does anyone know if troublesome trucks opened OK on the 12th?

I.E. Is it done and working now?

Thanks
