But did it get stuck? Not according to this report
Four children were stranded 80ft (24m) up on a fairground ride for an hour after parents demanded it was stopped because of unfounded safety fears.
The adults had wrongly feared a safety harness was not in place on the Extreme ride at Brean Leisure Park in Somerset.
The children who had to be rescued were cousins, the youngest aged just 11.
After a firefighter rescue and paramedic attention, Health and Safety officials ruled there was nothing wrong with the ride, which later reopened.
Park director Sarah House said: "They were not in danger at any point."
The parents became concerned when one of the four children on the ride began screaming.
They believed one of the safety harnesses was not in place, and persuaded the operator to stop the ride.

If it was merely e-stopped because a kid was screaming, I'm not sure why it had to be manually pulled round.
Hopefully Marshall from Hayling will post with the true facts of what happened. _________________ RCCGB Membership Number 1915

OMG and its the one i hate the most lol.
I did that with Adem next to me, Dan and Rich behind me. I then went into a panic attack and was well rude with all 3 of them at the top lol. Then i started to see purple as the fear set in. haha.
Then i did it again last year with Vicci, she held my had all the way round. I have braved a few in the last year. Did Brighton Pier, Brean and the one at Birmingham's Euro Fair. I love the ride in motion its the stop at the top that makes me panic. I feel like i need to jump off lol.Even at the top, then my mind thinks what? and tried to hold on. Its a weird thing indeed.
Not sure how i would act if that even happened to me. If i was still alive or conscious.
Never riding it again now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

It must be a thing with Steve's because that's my worst nightmare too. If I'm going to get stuck somewhere then it may as well be on top of TTD _________________ Steve

Steve's you should probably avoid Foire Du Midi in Brussels. This year they had a Booster Max. It's, from memory, 15 metres taller than a standard Booster and has a capacity of 16 passengers rather than 8. John Friend enjoyed a ride on it last weekend and said it was very intense. I bet it swayed a lot when loading/unloading. _________________ RCCGB Membership Number 1915

My biggest achievement was the booster with just bunji harnases at Timber Falls in Wisconsine. I loved it and hated it at the same time. Love the ride in motion, its great. Its the height thing i think about when stationary.
At the Blackpool one i remember holding on to the grill for dear life with my little finger. Like that would have saved me if it went wrong haha. _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

As I mentioned to you at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Kings Dominion...
Don't be scared of the height - be scared of the ground.... it's the ground that kills you, not the height _________________ Matt
