Very simple question and one which will help with a debate elsewhere.
In your opinion which of BPB's major woodies do you rate as the best? _________________

You would think so.
But elsewhere it is not as simple as that. _________________

I suppose it all depends on what you look for in a ride, for me though my vote goes to the nash due to the insane amount of Airtime I get _________________ Rachel

Predictable I know, but I went with the Grand National. Wild Mouse in second though. _________________ Don't look at me, I'm just Human

I'm not voting until after the bash. But I am hearing horrendous reports of how the Nash is running this year, since it re-opened on April 4. _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |

Iv gone big dipper due to the fact i now find it more and ridewise and airtime wise since the grand national has had its new trains.
I find the nashs new trains and harness to harsh for the ride and pins you in giving me a hard ride rather than the airtime filled ride it used to give. |

I just meant simple for me. Mainly due to the fun I've had on the ride with the club - hand slapping and the smiling faces and cheers of joy everywhere. The memories attached to the ride are as good as the ride itself.
I hadn't thought of Wild Mouse - it's certainly another of my favourites, and its completely insane! |

I would say that is the 2nd best ride at BPB and the 3rd best in the UK after Nemesis and the Nash.
But for this poll I just wanted to gauge opinion on the major woodies at BPB. _________________

I chose the Nash as I find it the most insane coaster at Blackpool, apart from wild mouse, But this also shows how unpopular Rollercoaster has become. I find this ride to be so quite and relaxed ride and not as insane. _________________ Memeber of the 08 Top Thrill Rollback Club + Member of the "First to be denied SAW by Technical Failure" club.

It's still the Grand National for me. I really can't tell any difference between how it is operating this year compared with last - except that the red train is currently running slowly for some reason. Although the slow loading / dispatch continues to be an irritation.
I don't think that the Nash has got worse though overall - but the big dipper and roller coaster (which I was lucky to ride this year before the Nash re-opened on 4 April) have been running exceptionally well this year - with a surprising amout of airtime on the roller coaster.
I can't comment on the wild mouse - because 2009 was the first time I ever rode it. _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |
