I just caught a snippet of an item they intend to cover between now and 7pm. Not much notice but it looks like it's about the new SAW ride.
Too late - it aired. The news reporter and some lucky teenagers getting some SAWerious riding in!
Mike Vallis represented Thorpe's £13million investment in the ride but Headway (brain injury assosciation) raised concern of accumulated brain injury
Come on - maybe the RCCGB should have been there showing them years of intensive riding does not effect people _________________ Steve

I laughed at the call for more investigation into riding roller coasters. Believing they can be responsible for brain damage over sustained periods of time. Whats that all about? I mean come on, we are all totally normal and sane in the RCCGB
They would love us lot for reserch lol. _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

I was so busy watching it on one of the many monitors on the wall in front of me that I almost missed fading up the mic for the presenter of the news programe I'm currently mixing.
Looks OK, but no info on the indoor coaster section or the walk through. And no real reference to the movies. Are Thorpe playing it down?
The brain injury subject is interesting. A few years ago a woman from oxfordshire got a headache after riding Duelling Dragons. It was so bad she went for a check up to discover she ahd a brain tumour. If she hadn't ridden DD she may not have found out about the tumour until it was too late. _________________ RCCGB Membership Number 1915
